University
Harley-Davidson University is an educational system for Harley-Davidson dealership owners and employees. It includes training
held at facilities like the school in Milwaukee, regional
training, and large dealer gatherings like the annual Dealer
Operation training event. It also includes in-dealership programs
like PHD, PACE and ProSell, as well as programs presented by
associated companies like CBSI and Harley-Davidson Credit.
The goal of training is to insure that Harley-Davidson dealerships continue to be the industry leaders and provide
excellence in the motorcycling experience of our customers. Only
Certified Harley-Davidson Dealerships can participate in these
programs.
PHD Service Training
Service Training is comprised of two parts; PHD In-Dealership
training and Service training classes. PHD programs are targeted
at all dealership employees technicians and others who assist
customers with technical product questions
The PHD In-Dealership Training is a self-paced video and workbook
driven program. The topics range from basic servicing and engine
rebuilding topics. These programs meet the needs of new and
experienced technicians.
Classroom training is also offered at three locations in the US.; Harley-Davidson's training facility in Milwaukee, and the Motorcycle
Mechanics Institute
facilities in Phoenix and Orlando. At Harley-Davidson University,
they are committed to offering training programs that will help
serve the customers, exceeding their expectations every time. Only
Certified Harley-Davidson Dealerships can participate in this
program.

The Parts
Accessories & Clothing Expert program is comprised of two parts; In-Dealership
training and regional training classes. PACE programs are
targeted to all dealership employees who have contact with
customers.
The PACE In-Dealership training is a self-paced video and
workbook driven program. The topics range from basic
salesmanship, merchandising and display techniques to product
knowledge and department operations. these programs are of value
to both new and experienced employees in the Sales, Parts and
Service departments.
Classroom training is offered at locations across the US. Course
content is the same at all locations. At Harley-Davidson University, they are committed to offering training programs that
will help serve your customers, exceeding their expectations at
every turn.
